And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the Lord, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day. And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the Lord will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
Deut. 30 : 8-9
The Lord has been putting this idea on my heart recently. The Church must separate herself from the world, and return to the Lord. We have strayed from His commands, and have been subjected to many curses because we have started to look so much like the World.
But, the Lord says when we "return unto the Lord [our] God" that He will "will turn [our] captivity, and have compassion upon [us], and will return and gather [us] from all the nations."
Plenteous in every work of thine hand:
This blessing counters the Curse given to Man, that work would be toilsome.
...in the fruit of thy body:
This blessing counters the Curse given to Woman, that there would be pain in childbirth.
...the fruit of thy cattle, and... thy land:
This blessing counters the Curse of the world, and puts mankind back in a role of dominion over nature.
The Curses are not undone, but their sting is reduced by the Blessing that comes with obedience.
TFC cares greatly about productivity, family, and agriculture. In other words, we care greatly about each of the Blessings that God offers here. The Church must stop looking like the World, and must return to her role as the Ambassadors of Christ. We must pray fervently for a Revival among His Bride.
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
